Who is the training is for?
This training is appropriate for anyone that talks to people about Covid-19 or related issues. They could be frontline workers, volunteers, Covid-19 health champions or simply people that are happy to help.

Covid-19 continues to impact us all in Camden and Islington. Whilst many legal measures taken in response to the pandemic have gone, Covid-19 is still circulating in our communities. In addition, the pandemic has taken its toll on many residents and created challenges to overcome during this recovery period. These issues are addressed in this online course.

Course objectives
By the end of this training participants will be able to:

  • Understand the range of factors that influence residents’ decisions about key issues
  • Be ready to engage residents about difficulties arising from the pandemic
  • Know and be comfortable with a range of conversational skills to support these discussions
  • Have access to resources for self-help and signposting

With its strong emphasis on core conversational and communication skills, the course also provides excellent foundation-level training.
