Making Every Contact CountMaking a difference, one conversation at a time.
Thousands of conversations happen with residents in Camden and Islington every day. Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is about harnessing the power of short conversations to help people to stay well, access the support they need and cope better in these challenging times.
Our training will help you make the most of your conversations, helping residents think about issues affecting their wellbeing such as money worries, finding a job, mental health and lifestyle issues.
MECC interactions take a matter of minutes and are not intended to add to the busy workloads of health, care and the wider workforce staff. Instead they are there to fit into and complement existing professional clinical, care and social engagement approaches. Evidence suggests that broad adoption of the MECC approach by people and organisations across health and care could have a significant impact on the health of our population.
